ACS NSW takes pride in its ongoing working relationship with industry, government departments such as LPMA (Land and Property Management Authority) and infrastructure bodies dealing with the provision of land services.

New South Wales' surveying and mapping industry is broad-based, multi disciplinary and technologically advanced.  Its international credentials have been established on projects not only in Australia but also in South-East Asia, the Middle East and Africa.  ACS NSW's office in Bathurst Street, Sydney, will be happy to refer you to a member firm providing the particular skills and professional expertise you seek whether your project is around the corner, in rural NSW or around the globe.  The provision of 3 dimensional spatial data is ever increasing and sought by developers, architects and engineers and land surveyors provide this information enabling the implementation from the smallest to the largest development and infrastructure projects.

Members of the Association are private sector firms engaged in the business of surveying or a related discipline. All members are required to carry professional indemnity insurance and abide by the Association’s Code of Ethics, Code of Practice and Rules. The Association provides a range of services to members to assist in the establishment, running and promotion of their business. Resources, training and advice provided are relevant to all SME’s involved in the industry.  ACS NSW through its office and executive committee sees its role to advise member firms to develop, maintain and provide an efficient service for the benefit of the community.
