The Academy was launched in 2019 to help you improve your business. The “Your Business” program is an opportunity for Emerging Business Leaders and Potential Business Leaders in Consulting Surveying Firms to come together over the course of 12 months to connect, learn and review your business with a view to improving profitability and achieve other measures of success.
The program has been designed by surveyors for surveyors and will include delivery and mentoring by surveyors. Surveyors who have been, and are successful, in their own consultancy. We recognize that surveyors have already spent many years studying, and likely many more running their business. And whilst there is always more to learn, there isn’t time to undertake another university degree or get involved in a lengthy and costly course program.
The Academy has designed this course with your workload, budget and time in mind.
The “Your Business” program includes 6 sessions over 12 months of 5 hours held on Thursday afternoons in Sydney, plus a time to network, discuss and connect over dinner. Mentoring will also be available and matched by the Academy and available to participants throughout the 12-month program.
Assessment is key and participants will have the opportunity to prepare and present a Board report on their business, and the improvements made or recommended as a result of learnings from this program.
Numbers are limited to 15 only per year. This program is for ACS MEMBERS ONLY.
All sessions will be held from 12:30 pm to 5:30 with a light lunch and afternoon tea followed by dinner and drinks at a local Sydney Restaurant.
