Northern Rivers Rail Trail - Casino to Bentley update

The Casino to Bentley section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail has moved into the pre-construction phase, with surveying of the rail corridor now underway.
In this video, Lucas Flumm and Bill Nagel from Byron Bay Surveying explain what's involved in this comprehensive study, which includes aerial surveying using a drone, and a study of historical records and control points to determine the correct boundaries of the rail corridor.
Council is also considering quotes for a master plan for the project which will provide an important blueprint for the finished product.
